First, the video you have now is .avi, or .wmv (if your video was edited with Windows Movie Maker) (See how to edit videos with Windows Movie Maker). You must convert them into DVD format, such as .vob. You can convert with some Video Converters.


There are lots of applications which can burn your video into CD or DVD, such as Nero 8 Ultra Edition or NTI Media Maker. Now let's take Nero 8 as an example to introduce the steps: 


Step 1: Just download and install this program, and run it.


Step 2: Click the button "create and edit" in the main interface, and then select "Author, edit and capture videos".


In the main interface, you may notice the "rip and burn" option, if you choose it, you need to convert your video to .vob. Just follow the steps below:


Download the Video Converter and launch it.


Import your videos by clicking the "Add" button.


Select "DVD (.*vob)" in the "Profile" box.


Click the big triangle button on the right bottom of the interface, and start converting.


When you get the converted .vob file, you can burn the video to CD or DVD with Nero.
